2012, 5 to 8 months left (maybe 11) depending

on who you read, or believe. I think that it's very interesting to see the reactions of some, and the lack of concern in others regarding what was at one time, thought to be a message from an ancient culture to our dire future. Now what I gather from reading and media, this coming event is more a change or cessation of a certain stlye of record keeping over a specific period of time. The recurring cycles, now coming to an end after millennia, now lead to much speculation, and some concern on the part of most of us actually. Well, that is unless you have managed to stay totally and completely insulated from anything I'm saying. There are many references on the web that will give anyone a good understanding on what is "really" happening, EG..the end of the Mayan calendar because they didnt carry it any further into the future, which is the big debate.
I have two ideas currently that I think probably explain this.

• They shared the knowledge on how to calculate and record this, but it was done generation to generation, so one generation lost would be all that was required for it not to be carried on.
• Someone in authority called for it to end, possibly because of a change in beliefs, or a change in the significance of the belief and the possibly expensive need for keeping the calendar further.

I have read other similar idea's, and have enjoyed reading and learing about the multitude of other "reasons" that it's "really" happening, and what it means for our future. Alien lifeforms, Resurected heros, Time and Deminisional travel, Rising into a higer vibration, etc ... and after much research and many years of serious personal consideration, I know one thing for certain. Anytime you have some mysterious reference to a possible future senario, you will have countless interpretations of what will happen. Just watch out for the ones that say your doomed unless you pay me !
